March 2020 Update

The Holy Spirit

Dear CFN Church Family,

As the windy month of March has arrived, we can hear the whistle of the wind at the Dream center and we watch budding trees bending in the breeze. It brings me to think about Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit came as a mighty rushing wind.

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:1-4.

This is the point where Church history began powerfully. The Disciples, and all who followed Jesus, received the Holy Spirit and became witnesses of Him in Jerusalem and then to the uttermost parts of the earth.

The early Church grew as they studied the Scriptures, prayed, praised, worshipped the Risen Lord, and as they shared their possessions and fellowshipped together.

Each Sunday morning, Christ For The Nations Church comes together to love and worship God, to study His Word, to pray and to love one another. Our church is developing the fruit of the Spirit and stirring up the gifts of the Holy Spirit in one another. We are adding people to our church as we witness of the greatness of our God to CFNI campus and to our surrounding community.

As the wind, the Holy Spirit is moving mightily among us; He is doing a new thing. Today, we ask Holy Spirit to fill us again, to build His life in us, and to affect the world through us.

We love you and pray for you,

Pastors Tom and Rayanna Fields.
