April 2020

This week is the most important time of the year for us as we remember what Jesus Christ went through as He became the Sacrifice Who paid for our salvation, healing and freedom with His pure Blood.

On that Thursday, Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. He sweated drops of blood as He talked to Father God about the ordeal that was ahead of Him. He said, “Nevertheless, not My will but Yours be done.” He surrendered to the pain, shame, agony, sorrow, and grief that He would endure for you and for me. Then, He celebrated the Passover meal with His Disciples after sunset.

On the Friday, Jesus went through six trials and was found guilty even though He was innocent, was beaten beyond recognition, was cruelly mocked, and a crown of thorns was shoved into his head. Then Jesus was made to carry His own cross up the hill to Golgotha. Humiliated, He was crucified as a criminal between two thieves. He died, giving His life and forgiveness to us at the very same time that Jewish families were sacrificing a lamb to celebrate Passover in their homes.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Our Lord Jesus Christ was placed in a borrowed grave that evening. But, on the third day, on Sunday morning before dawn, Jesus rose from the dead!

Things around you may look dark, hopeless, and very scary as we watch the cases of Covid-19 rise.  Your family may be in financial need. You might have lost your job. You may be dealing with anger, with addictions, with depression and fear. Your life may appear to be going nowhere. BUT SUNDAY IS ON THE WAY!! JESUS OVERCAME SIN, DEATH, HELL, AND THE GRAVE FOR YOU AS HE WAS RESURRECTED FROM THE GRAVE.

Call on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ today. Cry out for His help. Surrender your life to Him. He paid for you to have eternal, abundant life. Ask Jesus to forgive you for going your own way, for being separated from Him by sin.  Then talk to Him about the problems you are dealing with. Thank Jesus for loving you, for  forgiving you, and for meeting your needs.

Call 214-302-6241 to tell us that you prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You can ask for prayer for your needs.  JESUS LOVES YOU and WE LOVE YOU!!
